Japanese (Kokugo) lessons are offered every day up to Grade 8

Columbia International School offers the Ontario (Canadian) curriculum. All courses are taught in English by certified teachers.

• The school aims to increase learning effects by using the latest technology in laptop and school wireless network environments. The curriculum has adopted Internet-based learning, such as IXL Math. Each student in Grade 7 and above use one laptop. Devices are used to submit reports and homework assignments and for online discussions
• Students learn programming starting from the first grade in arithmetic classes
• Students in 4th to 10th grades participate in the Science Fair Challenge

There are many opportunities for presentations and discussions

There is basic support in career education, including interaction with seniors and university research in homerooms. Students also share files with counselors online and have interviews
